1. Introductory Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) define the terms and conditions governing the services provided and the sale of products distributed by Barta Erik, sole proprietor (hereinafter: Seller).
The scope of these GTC extends to all legal relationships established between the Seller and the Buyer through the website https://en.brt-ebike.hu, in person, or via telephone consultation.

3. Nature of the Website
The brt-ebike.hu website does not qualify as an online webshop.
The information, prices, and descriptions displayed on the website are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a binding offer.
Through the website, only the following actions are possible:
- requesting a quotation,
- making an inquiry,
- expressing purchase intention.
4. Purchase Process
Purchases may be made in the following ways:
- through personal consultation at the showroom,
- following telephone consultation,
- after submitting a quotation request via the website.
The purchase becomes valid upon completion and signing of the Order Form, which records the agreement between the parties.
In the case of in-stock purchases, the Buyer’s details are recorded and the product may be collected immediately.
5. Payment Terms
5.1. Purchase by Order
In the case of an order, the Buyer is required to pay at least 70% of the purchase price as a deposit, which may be paid:
- in cash, or
- by bank transfer.
The remaining balance is payable upon collection of the product, either in cash or by bank transfer.
5.2. Purchase from Stock
In the case of in-stock purchases, the full purchase price must be paid:
- in cash, or
- by bank transfer.
In the case of bank transfer, the product will only be handed over once the amount has been credited to the Seller’s bank account.
The Seller issues an official invoice in all cases.
6. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer acknowledges that the purchase does not qualify as a distance contract, as the agreement is concluded in person in all cases.
Accordingly, the Buyer is not entitled to a right of withdrawal.
The paid deposit is non-refundable.
7. Delivery and Collection
Products may only be collected in person.
Bicycles are handed over assembled and commissioned by default.
If the Buyer requests the product in boxed, unassembled condition:
any errors resulting from assembly do not qualify as warranty defects,
any damage occurring during transport falls within the Buyer’s responsibility.
8. Delivery Deadlines
In the case of bicycle orders, the expected delivery time is 2–4 weeks from the date of payment of the deposit or full purchase price.
For accessories, the expected delivery time is 30–40 days.
Accessories may arrive independently of the bicycle.
9. Ordering Accessories
If only accessories are ordered, the full purchase price must be paid in advance.
If ordered together with a bicycle, the minimum 70% deposit rule also applies to accessories.
10. Warranty and Guarantee
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty in accordance with the applicable Warranty Terms in force at all times.
The following do not qualify as warranty defects:
- improper use,
- modification or tuning,
- removal of speed limitation,
- alteration of factory settings.
The Buyer receives a Hungarian-language user manual, warranty information, and a stamped and signed warranty certificate with each product.
11. Rental
Bicycle rental is provided under a separate Rental Agreement at the rental locations.
The detailed rental terms are set out in the separate rental agreement.
At our own rental locations, the rental fee may be deducted from the purchase price in case of purchase.
12. Participation of Contracted Partner
On behalf of and under authorization from the Seller, the official representative of Zugló Kerékpár Kft. is authorized to act.
The representative of Zugló Kerékpár Kft. is entitled to:
- sign the Order Form,
- conduct the sales process.
Declarations made in this manner are considered fully valid acts on behalf of the Seller.
13. Official Communication
Communication regarding orders, quotation requests, and consultations may take place in person, by phone, or by e-mail.
The Buyer acknowledges that communication via e-mail is considered official, as it is documented and verifiable in writing.
In the case of telephone or in-person discussions, the Seller is entitled to confirm the discussed matters via e-mail, which shall form the basis for further administration.
14. Final Provisions
The Seller reserves the right to amend these GTC.
Amendments shall enter into force upon publication on the website.
